A popular YouTube sensation, Coby Persin carry out a social experiment to test how easy it is for pedophiles to pick up their victims through social media, which is commonly used by pedophiles to find their prey.
The result of the social experiment shows that all the victims where "hooked on the bait" and if it was not just an experiment, the subjects were in real trouble.
The video on YouTube has garnered more than 29 million views in less than a week after it was posted on August 10.
In the experiment, Persin created a fake Facebook profile where he pretends to be a 15-year old boy. Persin was able to test the experiment with three young girls aged 14, 13,and 12 years old with the consent of their parents. He started by sending friend request as a stranger which the unknowing subjects accepted. After 3 or 4 days of conversing with the subjects, Persin was able to convince them for a meet up.
"What we found in this video is shocking, its something everyone should see", Persin said on the video. He also added that viewers should use what they have learned on the video to better educate their friends and family.
