But what do NASA say about this? Though it may disappoint people who are already convinced of life on Mars, an expert says the image is not an enough evidence.
Dr. Seth Shostak, senior astronomer and director of the Center for SETI Research said on an interview by the Huffingtonpost that the "rover photos is a testament to our brain’s ability to pick out creatures in the visual landscape". "It’s a talent that helped our ancestors avoid predators or catch prey, but it’s a poor strategy in the hunt for extraterrestrial life.", he added.
