The alleged video of the actual beheading of Barangay Chairman Rodolfo Buligao has surfaced on social media after reports that his body was recovered, August 11, in Barangay Laum, Maimbug, Sulu.
In the video, an alleged member of Abu Sayyaf terrorist group reads some text in Arabic language. He then explained their reason and then they proceed on beheading the victim while chanting "Allahu Akbar". The video posted on Facebook was condemn by netizens with some saying that the goverment should go in an all-out war against the Abu Sayyaf like what the government did to the BIFF. The video has been online for more than 12 hours on Facebook and has reached thousands of viewers before it was taken down.
Rodolfo Buligao is the chairman of Barangay Aliguay Island, Dapitan City, Sulu, according to sources. He was reportedly kidnapped in his barangay on May along with two Coast Guard personnel.
In a report, after the body was recovered, ARMM Governor Mujiv Hataman said that he condemn the incident adding that,"The perpetrators must be hunted down and be brought to justice and these attacks must be stopped immediately.
