Well, improving online security measure should a good news for both costumers and the bank.
But instead of being a good news, many costumers are having hassles because of this Unionbank updates, specially to those who are doing online daily transactions using their Unionbank cyber account.
What makes it hassle?
Simple. The Unionbank update is not working well or maybe instructions are not clear. When you log-in to your EON Cyber account, after entering your username and password, when you hit enter, you will be prompted to create a transaction password. This transaction password is used for further security when using your account for online transaction. Well, there a guidelines to follow, but what embarrassed me is that after carefully following the guideline, I always get the error "Invalid Transaction Password".
Add more that it is hard to have your call picked by their 24/7 costumer support and it would take more than two days to have your email replied.And spending time just to go and check your balance in an ATM Machine when you are already used to do it online is very dismaying.
Well, there's nothing to do then but to wait for further update from Unionbank.
And that's the big hassle.
