Taxi Driver Returns Lost iPhone 6 Plus, Faith in Humanity Restored says Owner

A taxi driver garnered lots of praises on social media after returning an iPhone 6 Plus left by a passenger.

Rowel David posed with the phone. The photo was taken by Reijiro Sato, the phone owner after they meet up.

According to Reijiro Sato, he was on his way home when he accidentally left the phone on the taxi in Clark, Pampanga.

Sato said he saw his phone moving on the highway map by doing the Google's 'find my phone' immediately after getting online. Using the 'Lost iPhone' feature, he added his friend's number for callback. The phone he added as callback then ring after the phone stop moving on the map,

After Sato explained that it was his phone, David promised to return it back. "And you know what? He did", says Sato. "I gotta say, faith in humanity extremely restored right now", he added.

Rowel David is the driver of the taxi with plate number AAW8606.
