Its rainy season again. Its a time of hardship to have clean water available for daily consumption, deep well and pumps or artesian wells go dirty and contaminated. Even water supplies are being shutdown during rainy seasons.
But for some people rainy season is a good season to lessen their water bills and have plenty of clean water. Thanks to technology and with the "Rainwater Harvesting System", there's no worry for supply of clean water. More and more improvement of this technology is being done and its commercially available.
What is rainwater harvesting system?
Its a system where rainwater is being accumulated and deposited then filtered for use for garden, water for livestock, water for irrigation, and indoor heating for houses and even for drinking and others.
What about the advantages and quality?
Rainwater harvesting provides an independent water supply during regional water restrictions and in developed countries is often used to supplement the main supply. It provides water when there is a drought, can help mitigate flooding of low-lying areas, and reduces demand on wells which may enable ground water levels to be sustained. It also helps in the availability of potable water as rainwater is substantially free of salinity and other salts.-Wikipedia
The quality of the water depends on the filtration processes that a rainwater harvesting system have and the storage of the filtered water.
